Reviews are so important to authors, I mean seriously really really important! It's a powerful way to recommend our books to others as well as a way to help us improve on our craft. I know for some it feels like judging an author and to some extent it is, but let's face it, we need to know what you think of our work. Another excuse for not writing a review is "I just don't know what to say, or how to put how I feel into words." Here are my recommendations for you, start with the basics, name of the book, author, where it's available and then a brief description of the story for example. "Dark Kiss is the story of a billionaire restaurant and night club owner who is in a terrible car accident, he winds up in the ICU where his nurse Mia gives him a reason to live." The rest doesn't have to be long or detailed, just let us know if you enjoyed the book or not and why. I've written two sentence reviews before when I don't have much time, especially when the book is part of a series or trilogy and I can't wait to see what happens in book two or three! The idea is go give feedback and spread the word when you find something you love. So you see reviews don't need to be a big deal, just be honest and speak from the heart and the review should write itself.
